Usually,
store bought 'dairy' milk contains mixtures of milk
from various breeds, including buffalo milk which is
high in fat content and tamasic (of lethargic quality).
The dung obtained from Gau Shala is being
used as compost manure for our Teak plantation and Rose garden.
After cleaning cow sheds, the waste water with cow dung, urine
and unused feed, is be drained to the our fish pond. The cow dung
promotes the growth of plankton, which is used as food for fish.

Cow's milk contains protein. The primary group of milk proteins
are the caseins. A1 and A2 are the two primary types of
beta-casein (beta-casein is one of the three major casein
proteins) present in milk. They are simply genetic variants of one
another that differ in structure by one amino acid.
Milk is one of the richest food sources of calcium, which is
necessary strong bones and healthy teeth. One cup of milk provides
between a half to a third of calcium's recommended daily intake
for a child (aged between 1-11 years) and around one third to a
quarter of that for an adult. As calcium is present only in very
small amounts in most common foods, it may be difficult for
individuals who are restricted in their intake of milk and milk
products to obtain the recommended amount.
